What education is available on the Remote Coast?

The Remote Coast is home to one of the highest-ranked school districts in Florida. Sarasota County’s School District is designated by the Florida Department of Education as a “Grade A” district. 65% of the County’s public school teachers hold a master’s degree or higher, compared to a 41% state average. Pine View School serves intellectually gifted students, grades 2–12, from throughout Sarasota County.  The Remote Coast offers fresh seafood right out of the Gulf from hand-crafted burgers to authentic New York pizza. “One of the Best Food Cities in the U.S.,” says Conde Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards. Anyone who lives here knows, the only thing better than the many award-winning entrees are the all-you-can-savor, picturesque views.
